A couple of days ago, our washer decided that it didn’t want to work. When I say I didn’t want to work, I mean the door wouldn’t close. So, after a bit of hassle, my dad agreed to buy a new one, as getting the door fixed would have cost about the same. And considering we’ve had that washer for over 5 years now, its makes more sence to get a new one.

The new washer is coming tomorrow (anytime between 8am and 6pm. Lets just say they’re always on time). So, with that in mind, it was our job to remove and disconnect the washer from where it is. I knew this wasn’t going to be an easy task, not because washers are heavy, no. But because my dad was involved. My dad is the kind of person you just have to cope with in difficult sitations, as (and I dont think he does it on purpose) but he panics easy, and when he panics, he just shouts and gets angry at whoever ‘isn’t doing it right’. So, he pulled out the washer and disconnected the water pipe, this is when the trouble started. The water went everywhere. All over my mum, all over my dad, all over the washer, the floor, the sink, the walls. It was quite amusing actually. But my dad got angry and screamed at me, (and by the way, I was just passing to go outside for a cigarette), to turn off the water mains. Now me being me, I have no clue where the tap for the mains is, so I asked where and he huffed and showed me. The pipe was very stiff and horrible to turn so as I tried my best, he kept shouting for me to turn it off. Once I’d finally got it, I laughed at the sight of them, but shut up as soon as my dad looked at me.

Once he’d let the pipe drain in a pan, he pulled the washer completely out. He asked me to get the bucket from inside the back room (which he’d just blocked any means of entry with the washer), so I pushed the washer back a little, got shouted at and came out with the bucket. We filled it up with water from the pipe that came out of the washer and my mum filled up the kettle. Now, if we need the toilet, we have to fill the toilet up with water from the bucket as or after we’ve flushed.

Its a bit of fun for me, but I think my mums a little frustrated.

I had a pretty hectic yet fun day yesterday. Lets re-cap;

Katy phoned me at 8am to wake me up, to go see the Sex and The City movie. Me and mum left at 10am to go pick Katy up and we got the cinema around 10.20am. When we got there, it wasn’t even open yet, so we took a trip to Asda. We bought Coke, Flap-Jacks, Snack-A-Jacks, I got a chicken wrap and Katy got a tuna pasta salad. I scoffed half my wrap on the way back to the cinema and then we had a cigaretter before going in. I went to buy the tickets (with my expired student card - DISCOUNT) and we went to watch the film.

After the film we got the bus to town and I walked Katy to the bus stop and stayed in town with Nikki for a while. During my time in town I got a phone call off my mum, telling me she was in the car park with a flat tire, my job; go and find my nan in town and take her to my mum. I did this, and then my grandad came to pick my nan up from town while me and my mum got the bus home. I only went home because my mum doesnt like to catch busses on her own, so I came pretty much straight back to town. Again, during my time back in town, I got another phone call off my mum, my job; go wait by the car until she, or the person coming to fix the tire, showed up. So I dragged my friends Jordain and Bryn to the car to wait with me. Then I left my mum with the guy fixing the tire until everything had been done. By this time, no one was left in town so my mum picked me up and we went home.

My mum and dad went shopping when we got home. I had some tea, and went to see Mike. I only got there around 8pm so by this time I was pretty tired. It got to about 9.15pm and me and Mike were literally falling asleep on each other, (he’d been in work, 6am-6pm). I walked home at 9.30pm and found myself wide awake. I only stayed up til 1am though, which is rather early for me.

So yeah, quite a good day yesterday, kept me on my toes. So much so that I snoozed in bed til after noon today haha. Mike worked again today and is again tomorrow. He gets payed tomorrow, and he’s told me that (because he’s going out with his friends tomorrow night), he’s going to give me £20 in town tomorrow, so that I can ‘treat’ myself and he’s going to get us both a take-away on saturday night. I like him having money, it makes him nicer haha.

This is Salem, for Katy =)

They suck. No one actually does anything. I went into town today to meet up with some friends, because Mike thought it might be a good idea. But it really wasn’t. No one was there. (All me and my friends ever do, is meet up in town and sit around chatting. Its nice when you think about it coz we have to keep each other entertained and so all we really do it talk.) Okay, so a few people turned up, but not the usual number. There are always so many of us, especially saturdays.

On my way to town (walking), I was thinking of the bus roots and timetables and it started to kind of annoy me. I’m so lucky to live a short distance from the town centre (about a 15-20 minute walk, if we’re going fast). If we were to catch a bus, one comes to the stop near my house every 10 minutes. Then I thought of my sister, if she was to walk to town it would take a good 30-45 minutes, yet she only gets busses every 15 minutes and half of them she can’t even get on with Meghans pram, so she ends up waiting at least 30 minutes to get one. This doesn’t make sense as its much easier for us to walk than for her, so why does she get them less often? I know this is completely pointless, but it was bugging me haha. Warrington Council need to sort this one out.

Now, going completely off the subject, I’ve been meaning to write a blog about a certain cat called Jinx. She belongs to Mike’s dad, she is pure white (with a few black patches from sitting under cars too often haha) and she is one of the most affectionate cats I know. Whenever I get into bed, when we stay at Mike’s dads flat, she comes over, purring like a motor-boat and will get under the covers with me and cuddle up with her head on the pillow. If she thinks she is being ignored, she will either meow right in your face, or paw at you, almost like shes poking you, for you to stroke her again. She is the reason I go the bed early and read every time I stay over haha. Who needs a boyfriend when you could have a cat like that? Only joking haha.

Tomorrow I am staying at Mike’s dads again, so I will be going to bed to see Jinx. Heres a picture, so you can see how cute she really is.

For the first time in about a month, I am back at Mike’s mums house. Its a bit weird being here again and the horrible thing about it at the moment, is that Mike’s bedroom smells a bit like my ex-boyfriends house. I dont know why its bothering me so much, but I’m not too comfortable at the moment.

I’m rather hungry too haha. I went to ask Mike if hes hungry and he said he is but he cant be bothered cooking at the moment. So I’m waiting until he’s really hungry and he has to cook before I have anything to eat. Also bearing in mind that I only ate my tea at 6pm.

Watching Britains got Talent, then I’m going to read for a bit until he gets off his Xbox360 and comes upstairs. Dont have any idea how long that will be, I could be here all night haha.

Two of my closest friends have just broke up. I dont know how I feel about it. I know she didn’t want to be with him, but you can tell how much is has affected him. I feel close to him because he reminds me of an ex-boyfriend but she is my best friend. I’m obviously not taking sides but I’m dreading the next time we’re all in town together.

Its made me think though, which I suppose can be a good thing. I’m happy with Mike, and honestly I dont know what I’d do if we broke up. I dont rely on him for anything but I know I’d break down if anything happened between us. But some things in the relationship, I’m not happy with. Only small things, but they make an impact anyway.

For instance; I pay a lot of attention to the things he is interested in (games, films, his work, his friends), but when it comes to what I’m interested in (body mods, reading/books, films I like), he doesn’t seem to have the time to talk about it. I get a simple ‘Oh right.’ Whereas I would sit down and listen and talk about things with him.

I’m supposed to be staying at his house tomorrow, I think I should talk to him about all this really. I know he’ll try and avoid it as he hates talking about things, so wish me luck.

On a lighter note, I’ve finally sorted most of my room out (me and mum are switching around because I’ve come to realise that I dont like big rooms), soon I’ll be moving into my old room, with all new furniture and freshly decorated. I can’t wait. I’ve wanted this room back for so long now, but I didnt want to tell my mum because she is currently using it for her card making and crafting.

I’m off to bed now to watch Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and then to read Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix. What a geek, eh? Haha.
